Both schools will give me full tuition. My family lives in Reno. Everyone in my family has gone to UNR (even my great grandparents). The problem is: I don't really want to be stuck in Reno. The University is being forced to make budget cuts that are causing the elimination of many programs. I'm probably going into medicine, so it won't matter too much where I go for undergrad. UNR has a really cheap medical school that I could get accepted into as part of their BS/MD program.

Should I go to UNR or should I go elsewhere? I've been accepted into Stetson. Please let me know what you think. Thanks.

If you have a full tuition scholarship to Stetson, what reason would you have to stay at UNR? Is it because you’d need to pay for room and board, and at UNR you’d be able to live at home for free?

I would pick just about anything over a Nevada school. It is a terrible educational system and the universities are weak. If money is a factor or if you really want to stay there for med school, go for it. Otherwise, get out.
