Hi everyone! In the past few years, when did Stevens go live online for interview scheduling? What was your interview experience like? Thank you!
I’m pretty sure that my son had a senior student as his interviewer, iirc. It was very low key according to him. No stress whatsoever. This was 4 years ago.
Our daughter had an on-site interview about ten days ago. The interviewer was a very pleasant and warm fifth year student (pretty sure). She and my daughter had a chat for about 15-20 min and then I was invited to join them in the room in case I had any questions. The interviewer told me about life as a woman at Stevens, which was an area about which I had a couple of questions. It was a very low-key and friendly vibe all around. I think my daughter left there with a good feeling. She is a little bit reserved - not usually too gregarious - but/and the interviewer was kind of “chill” too so I think it seemed comfortable. Very much hoping for a Stevens Admission. We applied RD - it’s hard to wait so long! : ))
How much do you need to know about the university in order to interview? We live several hours away so have only been there once-for a tour on a day when school was off. Timing was bad so we didn’t get to see the facilities but my son did like what we heard.
Know the basics. The interview process is very low key.
