<p>i'm having a horrible time deciding between these two schools....I am looking to play soccer at both and have been informed by both coaches that I will be admitted but can't decide which is better. am interested in civil engineering as a major...any insight to the social life/academics of either that will push me over the edge one way or another?</p>

<p>My eldest son is at Stevens and loves it. He is very social and never lacks something to do. It is a very urban environment, and he and his friends love to hop on the bus or the PATH and go into Manhattan.</p>
<p>My daughter-in-law’s brother went to WPI. His comment was that although he wished he had attended a larger school, he did enjoy his time. </p>
<p>I think they are fairly equivalent as far as academics.</p>
<p>I think you should try to go to a student weekend for both and get a feel for which one would be right for you.</p>
<p>I’d go to Stevens instead since it also has a better name than WPI. Personally my college decision revolve around the rep of the school also. Unfortunately, finances don’t allow me anymore so I’m at a pretty ■■■■■■■■ school. But I would go to Stevens.</p>
