Stewart Calculus Book

I ordered the Stewart: Early Trans. Book for a correspondence course and i was only shipped the \"Single Variable\" book instead of the \"full edition\"

if i order the \"Multi Variable\" part, will the two of my books be equivalent to the normal \"full edition\"?

I think the page numbers might be a little bit off but they should have the same content. I'm not sure but the Multivariable one might include the single variable one too. The one that I have has single and multivariable together. It's a pretty good textboook.

i have stewart multivariable and it is only multivariable, not both.

Stewart is an exceptional calculus book, both for learning and advanced questions, however if you are planning to pursue mathematics at a higher level, and have a passion for the subject, I would duly recommend Calculus: with Analytic Geometry by George Simmons... It is a much more thorough and sophisticated text, and lays the foundations far better than Stewart.
