S hasn't heard from TCNJ....lots of locals have...accepted/rejected........does it show on the log-in if you are rejected ? Website always says the application is complete...this is a bit unnerving...He would like to know either way...anyone else waiting? Thanks.

Damn, I was under the impression that they let everyone know a while ago, I recieved my acceptance at least a month ago or more. When did you apply??

did you apply as a transfer? you’d be hearing really soon if you did… i got mine yesterday, and i was nervous that I was behind everyone else.

My son is still waiting as well and he applied back in October. He has gotten a letter (way back) that he was going to a second round and then an email last week that he was still being considered. It is maddening! A friend of a friend heard yesterday (rejection) and she was a 4.0 student. Best of luck…we should hear by Monday. Maybe today.

damnn i got in with a 3.7… depends the major i guess? communications majors are reallyyyyy selective, and a lot of the time, they have certain spots filled before some kids even apply… i dunno what the case is, but there could be lots of explanations

S got his skinny letter today…waitlist, they can’t say how many would get in with waitlists. 9,200 applicants for a class of 1300…offered 1000 space on the WL…usually only half choose to stay on it…In the past years a range as wide as 300 to only 5 were accepted from the WL. I think that with the economy in the tank there will be more students accepting TCNJ than in previous years…as we had been hoping. Still we’ll keep him on the WL…nothing to lose at this point! Good luck to all.

Does the status screen show if you’re rejected/waitlisted or does it only show if you’re accepted?

I’m away from home right now, so I can’t get my mail and I wasn’t sure if the status screen was like other schools.

My son got in on the waitlist today as well. He’s choosing to stay on but is shifting his focus to elsewhere.

thats rough :[ <3 best of luck

Dear JGCIM,
Is that for real? More than 9,000 applicants? Did it say so in the waitlist letter or did you find out somewhere else? That is astonishing.

It says it write in the letter from TCNJ. I am not surprised when you consider how bad the economy is there are lots of students applying because of the great value/reputation of the programs at the school…Perhaps, if it was a different year it would have been an acceptance letter instead… It is what it is.

they also have a huge, like 95% retention rate of freshman and sophmores too… dont forget that…

they really are going to wait until the last day, aren’t they?
this is ridiculous.

Has anyone else still not heard from TCNJ?

i called the admissions office
they said they would get back to students aroung the end of june
thats rediculous because students have already taken placement tests and have sceduled everything…
