Still haven't received any contact from Rice?!

<p>I applied on the Common App for Rice by the deadline but I haven't received any contact... no e-mails, no mail! I didn't even receive my application status login stuff, which apparently many people have gotten... should I be worried? Has anyone else not received anything at all...? I e-mailed Rice, but they haven't responded yet.</p>

<p>You probably should call them on Monday to be sure. My S received a letter early this month saying that the log in was going to be set up soon. The main purpose of that letter was to tell him that all of his materials had not been received. Most people didn't get a letter, I assume because all of the required materials had gotten to them. When I called to find out about the log in it had been sent but for some reason we didn't get it and they sent it again when I asked for it. When I spoke to the people in admissions it sounded like the e-mail should have gone out to all of the applicants but that most people didn't get a letter.</p>

<p>I hadn't received any acknowledgement of receipt of my application from Rice, either. Last week, though, I decided to call the admissions office and was able to find out that nothing from my application was missing.</p>

<p>Though now that I think about it, maybe I should've asked something about a login so that I'll be able to check online when decisions come out...</p>

<p>i wouldn't be too worried. while the people in the admissions office at rice are really friendly, their email based communication could use some improvement. i received the exact same login mail twice 20 days apart and i can't imagine how that is a sign of good organization. however, the people there do a really good job of fixing things on a personal case by case basis, so rest assured (i had a few other problems related to my application and they resolved them in no time once i called).</p>

<p>Call Rice and check on your midyear report and signature page...
I sent my signature page twice and Rice still didn't get it.
I had to personally deliver it to them.</p>

<p>I haven't received any login info either...</p>
