Will probably have really good Recs

anyone please??

if you would have applied earlier, it'd be a sure thing.. it's getting pretty late, but your ec's. the fact that you're in magnet and gpa are really good. your sats may bring you down a bit, simply b/c you applied so late. best of luck :)

Alexandre i was wondering if u could share your thoughts with me??

Do not buy into this myth that if you haven't applied by 10/31 all is lost. Applications are accepted up until the deadline!! U-M does not "fill its class" only with the people who apply in the fall.

It's true that applying early ups your chance of admission. And generally, 3/4 of students apply before January, so you're in the later group. But that doesn't doom you.

I think you have a good shot. Your SAT scores are a little higher than the out of state mean (Mine were right at the mean and I got in), but unfortunately you applied late, I applied October 5th, and that definitely helped a lot. Your GPA is great, I had the exact same GPA at a top notch private school, so that helped a lot too. Could go either way, but I am leaning more towards the acceptance side than deferral/rejection.

Indiegal, it is hard to tell. Your GPA is strong and your SAT is fine. But you are applying relatively late. Had you applied 2 months ago, I would have said your chances are good. Right now, I would say your chances aren't as good...but I have no way of telling you exactly what your chance are.
