Still having trouble believing outcomes?

Whether you were accepted and you still can't believe it or you were waitlist/rejected and you didn't expect it I'm sure we all have a story to tell. What happened during the day you were(n't) accepted? Did you expect it? Did you not? How have you been dealing with our outcome? Have you been able to connect with people who have a similar situation? Life after the response? Revisiting? Planning? Making last minute arrangements? A twist of fate? Happy endings and dreams turned nightmares? (lol. This intro is super dramatic) whatever the story is you can share it here.

This could potentially be a great thread for future hopefuls to read about what happened to past applicants. Please don't be shy c:

Honestly, although I do know that the interview is only one small part of the application process, I based the chances of me getting into a school on how the interview went, and it turned out to be pretty accurate.
Having said that, I was pleasantly surprised when I got into Exeter, as I had had a terrible interview. It was a skype interview, and the interviewer had not turned on her video camera (unlike all the other interviews I had on skype), so it felt slightly awkward. In addition, she didn’t seem as enthusiastic, and was (in my opinion) quite tough. I remember her asking, “How would you describe yourself?” And I said something along the lines of independent, and organized. She then responded by asking for a time where I wasn’t independent, and I was thoroughly stunned and confused. It was also one of the longer interviews I had (45 minutes), so all in all wasn’t that great of an experience.
Oh well ! :P
