10 minutes later... This is absolutely unacceptable. At least Harvard understands the importance of punctuality.

They said sometime after 3, not at 3

Are you kidding? One of my friends got his e-mail at 12 AM PDT, more than 10 hours after Harvard started e-mailing.

Sarcasm…

Yeah I got my Harvard email at 11:00 PM PDT.

Lol at the satire from OP. My Harvard email was time-stamped 4:02 PM CST but I didn’t get it until this morning.

Has anyone still yet to receive an email?

Still nothing. Anyone know why?

No idea why we haven’t received an email. I am hoping its because they are writing it personally to make sure we go to Stanford ;]

Ugh I still haven’t gotten anything…

Bump!!!

[Admission News : Stanford University](<a href=“Page Not Found : Stanford University”>Page Not Found : Stanford University)

Find the part that says “Checking the status of an application”

It’ll tell you what to do from there. I just did it and no response yet. Good luck!

Well that was a dead end. They basically just told me that I had everything that I needed for my application. Still no decision email

I tried that a while ago when I remembered that Stanford sent me a pseudo-portal log in. It says it can’t find my email, and even if it did, I knew it would say they just received all my materials. I believe this same thing happened with Harvard admissions, about 5% of applicants never received an email. However, Harvard wasn’t so short-sighted as to close the admissions office the day they released admissions and they quickly corrected the problem. I tried contacting by phone and email regarding the issue. If I get no response, I believe everyone that was left in the dark will remain their until the office re-opens April 2nd.

Is anyone else still waiting? Please tell me I am not on this boat alone?

Yep I’m still with you. I guess I’m going to have to wait till monday to call. Let me know if you hear anything. Good luck

I’ve heard nothing. I called them, they said if I did not receive an email, they would take calls Monday. Emailed them about the issue, got nothing. I hope to God that this extra wait will at least pay off. And I hope that it isn’t in any correlated to their decision (i.e, I am getting it late because I am rejected, etc.)

By the way, has anyone who didn’t receive any mail been deferred? I wonder if the admissions officers forgot to put the deferred applicant pool into the mailing list – at least that’s what I can say about my region.

I was not deferred and only know of two other applicants on CC that have yet to receive an email. I think it might just be a coincidence that you were deferred and didn’t receive an email. Just call on Monday April 2 and find out.

I haven’t received an email and I was also deferred. It’s probably a coincidence but who knows.
