Did anyone else still receive no notification as to whether or not they received a scholarship from vanderbilt?

I still have no idea, but I applied RD and auditioned at Blair, so I haven’t even received an acceptance yet (although I was told at Blair that they are very interested in having me attend). I’m hoping that no news is good news!

My S applied regular decision and has not heard from Vanderbilt about Cornelius yet.

I haven’t even heard if I got in or not yet T_T

My daughter did not get a response of any kind regarding her merit scholarship application. She received emails from Admissions after she applied so they have the proper address. There was a separate line for an email address on the scholarship application so perhaps there was some problem entering that data.

mixed_success, that’s what i have been thinking as well. i guess we will wait to hear back in the mail

Whew, at least I’m not the only one. I applied RD to CAS and have received no word about the Cornelius Vanderbilt scholarship. Do they send a letter through the mail too or do they just email about it?

They said on their website that letters will be mailed out on or after March 6 to those who got the Cornelius.

Make sure you check your spam email.

That’s right^^! My D’s went into junk mail. Just lucky that my DH spotted it as we were receiving the message. She was, however, rejected!

I emailed them today and they responded that they had sent an email (probably got auto-deleted by my spam guard). Unfortunately, I did not receive the scholarship. I know someone that got it who is the stereotypical “smart idiot”- i.e., high scores ($$$) but zero common sense. Oh well. I guess this is my life lesson of the week! Hopefully the other schools I applied to will have better news for me.

Did they say when they sent that email?
