yikes! Seriously? :(

Same here. I don’t know what the deal is. I didn’t actually plan on attending Berkeley this fall, so I need to change the school on my CalGrant application.

Unfortunately, I tried to call every number possible with no luck. That includes the executive office of the California Student Aid Commission… No answer.

Eh, it seems to be par for the course that Cal Grants take awhile to renew. I think mine showed pending all the way to August last year* (all documents required had been in since late February). I don’t even have my FA package for next year yet, let alone my renewal.

As long as you know you met the requirements for renewal, I wouldn’t sweat it.

*Last year also had the issue of the state budget not being passed and so funds were delayed being dispersed anyways. But there was a warning about this on CSAC’s website.

same. is this happening a lot of you?

Before stressing yourself out it would be a good idea to call. All Cal Grants for transfer students will be pending until the end of June. Of course, if you were receiving before in community college. And in the end of June you can make a change of school if your school still showing a current community college. This information I got from a representative from Cal Grant. Hope it will help.

I’m still pending too they are taking too long
