Still sending out acceptances?

Nice.

(10 char)

"I recognize it's a tough time for a lot of people, and perhaps that's why people refuse to believe information they don't want to hear. I genuinely hope that you are accepted :-)"

Or perhaps people don't want to hear unreliable info?

When I try to log into:

http://caravan.esd.usc.edu/eventrsv...%2fDefault.aspx

I get the error message:

"USC ID and Last Name do not match. Please make sure you are entering them correctly."

I am postitve I am entering both correctly. Does anyone else get this message when they try to log in???

That is the you haven't been admitted yet message. I get that too. However, there is a possibility you may have been admitted and been assigned a new ID# (some but not all students have gotten new ones) in which case your current one would not work. So - it's not definitive except if you can get in, I think you are good to go.

livinitup-same here.

I am able to log into the Events RSVP site too! I am assuming this is a good sign because my chosen major is already selected in the drop down menu and it has all my info! I still can't log into Explore USC though... I do not want to get too excited though in case I end up getting a rejection letter though. I hope I'm accepted and good luck to everyone!

^ you're probably accepted. if you search futher in the site, it lets you reserve admitted student day sessions. if you were rejected, why would they do that?

12041987, could the reason people are attacking you be that you posted "insider information" that was clearly false? Who knows if your correction post was true; I don't I don't have an admissions "insider" but even you admit 96% of decisions probably haven't been recieved yet. Congrats on your Claremont McKenna waitlist! Maybe ElCartero will somehow get one of the last 4% of acceptances and pick USC over CMC giving you a glimmer of hope of coming off.

I was admitted and can log onto Explore, but for some reason the carvan/ USC RSVP admissions website doesn't work, whats the reason? It doesnt concern me, im not losing sleep, just wanting to know whats up

^ Doubt it means anything, maybe more confusion with multiple ID's or whatever.

same here. still no mail is better than the thin envelope...

i would suggest that, if it doesn't work by the end of the week, expect the worst, kids.

What a mean thing to say! And to think I felt really bad for you because no one asked you to your prom! You deserved it.

Is Zelda Fitzgerald her real name or is she just a huge Great Gatsby fan? Oh, and thanks Bill5, I think I will enter the Claremont Waitlist. They might move me up with some of my accomplishments that have happened since i sent in my app.

ElCartero, are you really rich, since your name essentially implies that you are a wallet? Hmmm..?

mammamia, read through the forum, there are tons of people who recieve a new ID number on their acceptance letter

o really then there is hope for us.

some guy on this forum had a 2.9 and got his application pushed by a professor of music. Do u guys think it helps alot if u get ur application pushed by a prof?

if you have a talent/sport skill they want, it can make all the difference. but you have to be really really good (like state/national level atleast).

pleaseusc88- Yes, you mentioned the new id's being issued with admittance earlier and that does give reason for hope and makes a good deal of sense.

So here's another reason to hope. If you check the "other places I got in thread" there is a pretty good percentage of kids choosing elsewhere (mostly because of financial aid), which opens up spaces. So if you haven't been rejected officially, one of those spaces could end up being yours!!!!!!!!!!
