Still waiting for letters on the east coast?

<p>It's Friday afternoon and I haven't received any sort of notification from U Chicago. Would this be indicative of a rejection or are there others on the east coast who haven't heard yet as well?</p>

<p>We live in southern Illinois, 4.5 hours from Chicago and nothing in the mail from Chicago today!</p>

<p>Someone posted earlier that heavier (acceptance) mailings take longer to arrive. :-)</p>
