<p>most stock brokers have a base pay + bonuses generated by commissions.. comissions are given from the volumne of trades generated by your clients through the firm..</p>

<p>If you have a lot of energy and are aggressive, your best bet would be to take your Series 7 exam and be a stock broker. Being a stock broker is not for everyone. You need to be aggressive, and have a lot of energy. Most stock brokers on 11 Wall Street are men aged in their 20s and very early 30s. You can't just be a stock broker and expect to make money quick. You have to know what you are doing. If you want to make a larger income than $100,000 as a Stock Broker, I suggest that you take a look at becoming an Institutional Broker, which can make $300,000+ a year. Hope this was helpful to you.
