On the Stony Brook supplement, it says you must have a 3.8 to be considered for the straight medical program and a 1350 SAT. However, I have a 3.7933 GPA, but I have a 1540 SAT. Is it still worth applying, and will they consider me even if my GPA is .07 off?

1350 cr+m?

Yeah it issssss

You could list your GPA as 3.8 on the app and just say you rounded. How many decimal places does your transcript list?

I know that admissions officers for accelerated med programs look at the whole app to see if anything else should be considered if one of the requirements aren’t met completely. I’m sure they would still consider you as a competitive applicant if they see how close your GPA is to a 3.8

So did you end up applying? My GPA is calculated with gym grades, which are unavoidably low; does your school do that too?

Did anyone hear back from this program yet?

oh nevermind it says march on their website :P
