Stonybrook vs Hunter College for nursing?

I’m currently a junior in high school and I want to go into nursing but I was wondering which school was better for nursing? I know Stony brook is definitely a better school overall, but my guidance counselor says that Hunter College has a strong nursing program as well; if I am fairly confident that I can get into both, which one should I go to? Thank you!

ps if anyone else could recommend some other suitable 4 year nursing programs for me; my stats are as follows:
1400 new sat
30 act (gonna retake tho)
91.44 average unweighted
bunch of nursing/med volunteer stuff
asian girl from very competitive high school in NYC

i am also applying to bing, nyu, northeastern (really like this one, might ed), penn state, emory, umich, and u delaware

Too early to decide. Apply, see where you get in, see what is affordable and THEN it is decision time.

Have you considered SUNY Plattsburgh’s nursing program, which is direct entry? I know several graduates (because I have 2 children who went there) and they are working. I don’t think Stony Brook is direct entry.

Hunter definitely. And cheaper
