Hello, I recently just took the October ACT this morning. During the math section, I began to feel sick and asked to go to the bathroom, so due to the lack of time and illness, I didn’t perform well on the math section. I have never taken the ACT before (only the SAT), so I had thought that similar to the SAT, I could cancel my score as long as it was before the Wednesday after the test; thus, I finished the test just to see how prepared I was. However, after leaving the test room and browsing online, I realized ACT does NOT have a score cancellation policy once you leave the test room. Since I cannot cancel, I plan on deleting my scores right after I get them, but I would not like my high school to receive them (I didn’t list any colleges to report to), mainly because I do not want it to be put on Naviance and stay there after I delete them. How do you stop your high school from receiving your score?
If I do not list a high school (aka I choose “I could not find my school code” on the registration ticket), will they somehow be able to track it down to my high school?
Thank you!
