ACT Scores Going to High School

Does ACT automatically send scores to a student's High School? If do, is there a way to stop them from doing so with regard to the June 13th test just completed?

Personally, I don't want this information going to my High School as they will put it on my transcript and I want to control what scores go to the colleges.

The ACT web site clearly states that you can cancel your scores before the THURSDAY AFTER the test date. Go to score reporting, and change “send to high school” to a NO. You can also cancel scores to any colleges you previously requested, however, you will pay to have them sent in the future if you choose to do so. It is worth the nominal fee if you feel you did not score well on the June exam.

Thank you. That is very helpful information.
