Strangest Coincidences

Do you have one of your own?

The building I live in now used to be a brothel (I just found out a week ago). The weird thing is that I used to be a child sex slave.

wierd coincidence..hmm. oh I have one, well actually its my dad's but whatever. When my dad was back in U of chicago doing some work or something he met this lady who mentioned that she had visited costa rica ( my native country). Later on this random lady showed my dad some pictures of her trip. One of her photographs pictured where she was staying at a beach in costa rica, when my dad looked at it it turned out to be a very small non-popular hotel that his parents have here in costa rica.

um.. were you really a child sex slave?

sagekid... i wanna say that that's pretty ehhh.. cool [for lack of better expression]. and no, my life is pretty uneventful, i have no coincidences worth mentioning so boo :/

child sex slave...i think that's a hook

lol

Harvard shoo-in. :)

I may be wrong here, but I always assumed that sex slaves keptthat stuff to themselves because of whatever. so r u really one?

here's a coincidence:

I was frinds with this freak 10 years sgo, and ten years after we left the place we lived, I ran into him in the street. It's a dumb one I know but its all i could think of

I've had so many coincidences lately, far too many to list.

A friend and I think that the universe is mildly fu<ked up right now.
The last time we strongly thought that, a number of disasters occured within 1-2 months (end of 2004), it was kind of creepy.

A few weeks ago, on the plane to Tokyo, I met this girl who was giong to Andover in the fall. (I'm applying there) She was an American living in Singapore. Her dad was probably a diplomat or something. She was going to Shanghai to study Mandarin for three weeks. She seemed really cool, and I think we could be good friends.

I just thought it was weird that out of the hundreds of thousands of kids that could've been sitting behind me on the plane, one that was going to Andover, my favorite school I'm applying to, would be there.

It's a SIGNNNNN.

^lol......

Why do you want to live in Williamstown?

I saw about three people I knew from school in Israel.

Umm, if you don't know already then you're pretty slow...j/k. Because the best college ever founded is located there and its a great town.

I'm only in eighth grade.

heres one!

My parents got an electical notice in the mail last week, telling them that our electricity was gunna be shut off if they didnt pay a certain amount by august 22. Then my mom talk to my aunt about it ans she said not to worry cause she got one of them too and they didnt shut off her electricity. The next day they shut off her electicity! lol......my parents better pay the bill.....I dont wanna live in the "dark" ages literally lol

10 years ago, i was best friends with this girl. i moved from my hometown and my cousin from kansas moved to the same place i was moving. he started dating this girl and it happened that the girl's sister was my best friend from when i was 8 yrs old.

That's definitely true, but I'm only that way to people I know in real life. I don't know any of you, so why should I bother holding back? I kinda enjoyed it in the beginning.

I just found out on Facebook last night that my first love, whom I haven't spoken to in 3 years (we live in different states now), is going to the school I want to attend next year. He applied as a senior in HS, and I will be applying as a college freshman for sophomore transfer. The school has been at the top of my list even before I found this out. The weird thing is that 3 years ago, he wouldn't have been happy at this school.

Why did the thought of looking him up pop into my head last night? We were supposed to meet yesterday, but he didn't show up. Granted, we set the date 3 years ago.. and he had either forgotten or consciously decided not to show up. So, it's forgivable. The weird thing is that I thought I saw him a couple of weeks ago. I immediately left the place because I was so startled, but when I came back 4-5 hours later, he was still there in the same spot.. so bizarre.

Uhhh...okay next thread.

I forgot to explicitly mention the coincidence. It's that he doesn't know this particular school is my dream school, yet he ended up there. I really thought he would end up at a school like Duke instead of one in complete contrast.
