Streamlined application implications for BA in Quantitative Finance

Hello all!
Our daughter is accepted to SIT for Fall 2018. On the streamlined application she indicated interest in mathematics (#1) and business (#2). She wants to receive a BA in Quantitative Finance. We are trying to close in on all of her options and there is not a lot of information about how to connect the dots on this or if we had made a mistake (stevens.edu + college confidential.com …). We will be at the SIT open house on April 15th and can clarify it then; but if you could shed some light on this topic, I thank you in advance.
Thanks,
Dudley

I don’t know about a streamlined application, but the Stevens QF program has outstanding success in placement. The large Wall St. investment banks recruit heavily from the QF program. It is a very rigorous program, with much high level mathematics, economics, financial engineering, a solid science base, and substantial computer science component.

BTW, the degree is a BS in QF, not BA.

Dear Engineer80,
Thank you for your thoughtful reply.

Hello again,
The answer is that the Dean of Admissions will need to review a change from mathematics to quantitative finance.
Best wishes to all.
