I want to pursue political science and/or economics in college. I only ever hear about Stony Brook’s strength in sciences but are the political science and economics courses strong too? (meaning good professors and resources)

For grad studies in econ, it’s not considered top shelf but it’s solid enough. Political science is fairly strong. There is probably some spillover effect into undergrad studies. Check the course listings, internship opportunities, etc.
