<p>Other applicants have been working on their essays for weeks even months.
There isn’t much I can scrap together in a day, but I will try for Cornell, NYU, and Northwestern.</p>
<p>I am already disappointed in myself. The idea of going to an Ivy League school did not come up until my parents mentioned it. I always thought I would stay in state, for financial reasons. I would have worked a lot harder had Ivy League been my aim.</p>
<p>Thank you for the advice, but unfortunately I already feel that regret of not working harder in high school. I think I would be even unhappier if I got in instead of someone who had worked harder and actually deserves to be there.</p>
