Stressing about schools! Chance me, will chance back!

Schools:

Wake Forest
Duke
UVA (in state)- EA
University of Richmond
Boston College
Brown
Fordham
Tulane
Vanderbilt
Yale- REA
College of William and Mary (in state)
American University

Stats:
I go to a public school that's in one of the countries best school districts and is top 10 in the state. Not sure if this counts for much

Classes:
- 8th grade: Algebra 1 HN (A), Spanish 1 (A)
- Freshman year: World History 1 HN (A), Biology HN (B+), English 9 HN (A), Geometry HN (A-), Art (A), Gym (A), Spanish 2 (A)
- Sophomore year: AP World History (A), Chemistry HN (A-), English 10 HN (A), Algebra 2 HN (A-), Fashion Marketing (A), Gym (A), Spanish 3 (A-)
- Junior year: AP US History (A), Physics HN (A), AP Lang (A), Precalc/Trig HN (A), SGA (A), AP Economics (A), Spanish 4 (B+)
- Senior year : AP Comp Gov, AP Lit, AP Calc BC, AP Environmental Science, AP Spanish, SGA, Applied History (unique class to my school, where we do research projects the first semester and an internship the second semester)

My weighted GPA is 4.29 and unweighted is 3.91. We don't do class ranks but I think I would probably be in at least the top 10% of my class.

ACT: 33

Extracurriculars:
-Girl Scouts since I was 5. I've earned my Bronze and Silver Awards and I am currently working on my Gold Award (making an educational booklet for Mount Vernon).
-Competitive Dance (think 15-20 hours a week, 6 days a week) since I was 4.
-I played field hockey in 9th and 10th grade but had to stop because of an ACL injury
-Math League 10th grade
-DECA 10th grade
-11th and 12th grade: Key Club, History Honor Society, National Honor Society, Student Government, and Model UN (vice president in 11th and vp and public relations in 12th)
-12th grade: Student Advisory Council (rep for my school's SGA in the county and with the school board)

Other:
-I won first place at the school, regional, and state level for National History Day
-I was a Girl Scout Congressional Aide two summers ago (a mini internship at a congressman's office)
-I went on a Girl Scout service trip to Costa Rica this past summer for two weeks

Recs:
- One is from my APUSH teacher who has known me since I was in 7th grade, I was very close friends with her daughter so she knows me on a personal level very well
- One is from my AP Lang teacher who has seen me grow as a writer. I'm one of her favorite students (has actually told her other classes about me), her recs are supposed to be phenomenal.

Essay:
- A funny/unique experience I had during my trip to Costa Rica

I would ideally like to double major in Economics and International Relations in college. Thanks for any help!

Will get into Wake Forest, Georgia Tech, University of Richmond, Tulane, Fordham, Elon, American, and UVA. Boston Brown Vanderbilt and Yale may be reaches

Best of luck!

Chance me? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1696732-chance-a-fairly-likeable-guy-for-cornell-ed.html#latest</a></p>

Fordham: not a safety but you’ll get in here
Tulane: I don’t know a lot but I think this is a match for you as well

Your grades are excellent and your ECs are even better

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1696043-average-student-anxious-of-high-hopes.html</a></p>

Thank y’all so much! Not sure if this means anything, but I am in the top 5% of my class (I’m one of the top 30 students in a class of 600)

Boston, Brown, Yale, Duke, and UVA are reaches, but then again they’re reaches for everyone. College of William and Mary is a low reach. The rest you have a decent shot at!

Chance mine? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1697798-low-gpa-high-sat-chance-me-for-harvard-john-hopkins-tufts-ill-chance-back.html#latest</a></p>

You should be fine for W&M and UVA. Despite different opinions on here, I would say W&M and UVA have approximately the same difficulty of admission. My good friend got into W&M but not UVA, and his brother got into UVA but not W&M. Things like that are not uncommon here. I’d treat both as a match or a high match for you, considering your high GPA and test scores combined with your long dedication to your ECs.

If you have any questions about W&M, I am a current student, so feel free to hmu anytime
