D22 is looking for things to do summer before starting college. Ungraded cultural/educational experiences in the US, Southern Europe or Costa Rica would be of key interest. 2-3 week duration max as part of an organized and chaperoned/supervised group. Ideally, she would hone in her Spanish in any abroad opportunity as she did not take on 12th grade after AP. Her prospective college has a foreign language proficiency requirement in her program. Overall, her interests are in public service, international affairs, theater and art history. Any recommendations would be most welcome.
