Student Life?

Just got accepted into Mount Holyoke for the class of 2016. Currently making decisions between all the schools I've been accepted by. I was wondering if there are any opportunities to snowboard at Mount Holyoke? I've picked up the hobby 3 years ago in Beijing and I wish to continue it.

I'd be super grateful towards anyone who might know!

Thanks.

Closest skiing is about an hour up route 91.

There are definitely mountains in the area and this year there was a weekend ski trip in January for really cheap! VT, MA, NH etc have a lot of mountains around- it’s just a matter of getting there that is sometimes challenging but there are resources available for transportation to a lot of students through Fleet vehicles and clubs or organizations.

when thinking about MHC, snowboarding doesn’t come to mind as a top ten reason list to attend… do your other schools offer that opportunity?

Thanks very much for your help!
Snowboarding is definitely not the only reason I want to attend Mount Holyoke. I’ve really fallen in love with everything about it. The fact that it allows me to continue pursuing my physical hobbies is definitely a minor plus though. I have just made my deposit. Hurray! :)
