<p>hi i was wondering what the student life was like at tufts?
once your in is it still fiercely competitive?
do students party? go to concerts? ect.</p>

I'm a freshmen at tufts and even though I'm no expert on life at Tufts (yet) there is SO MUCH going on it's hard to choose what you are going to do.
This same question came up on this board back in February and I think looking at the thread would answer your questions...</p>
<p>It is definitely not competitive around here....People here actually want to help you. Bio 13 (one of the hardest classes on campus) is not graded on a curve (thank GOD) so people are mostly competitive within themselves, if you get my drift. It is VERY social here, there's always so many things to do, and since you're close to Davis Square and Boston, there is no end to the amount of fun you can have here. You just have to take advantage of everything Tufts/elsewhere offers. Everyone is really down to earth and there's not that many pretentious people here.</p>
<p>i do have to put it out there that tufts is definitly NOT a party school. there really arn't crazy huge parties. they tend to be more low key. i have walked around capus on a saturday night with nothing to do before (this is rare though)</p>
<p>the good thing is there is ALWAYS other things to do. movie nights. boston. other colleges. shows.</p>
