Student loan repayment plan?

I'm currently a community college student, going into my second year this fall. Right now, I'm in the process of listing out all of the universities I'll be applying at and finishing up the entry requirements, as well as internships for next summer. About half of the universities I'm looking at are in Europe, such as Manchester, Leeds, Frei Universtat Berlin, and the Karolinska Instituet.
I've been thinking a lot about payment. My parents didn't save any money for me for college, and at the moment, I'm having difficulty finding scholarships I qualify for. I'm already taking out student loans for community college and I will most likely be taking out more. This greatly worries me, considering how much university costs, especially in the USA. I don't want to have student loans for a long time, so I started making a basic plan for after I graduate. Please tell me what you think, if you have any tips/improvements, if you paid off your loans in shorter time, etc:

Upon graduating, I will find the highest paying full time job I can get, even if it requires me to move out of state. I will live as cheaply as I can, in an apartment that is both cheap and safe, with a roommate or two. I will also get a part time job on the side and sell freelance writing.
I will also do work for SponsorChange, an organization that pays off parts of students' loans in exchange for donating your time.
I will deposit a bit of each paycheck into an emergency fund in case something happens.
I will not look at getting a credit card until most of loan debt is paid, as I know I would abuse its uses.
I will ask that if my relatives wish to give me something for my birthday/Christmas, that they only give me a monetary gift.
I will use coupons whenever I can.
I will pay biweekly at the maximum amount I can.

What do you think?

Back when dinos roamed the earth, I had lots of student loan debt. At first, I could barely make the minimum payments. When an unexpected expense came up I knew I was going to be late for a month or two on my payments. Such was my life. As my income grew, and my lifestyle did not, I was able to make more than the minimum payment. Also, once I was more comfortable, I would take any found money - income tax refund, winning the office football pool, etc. - and put it right toward my loan. I paid off my loans three years early.

You have a great attitude but I don’t know if the plan is realistic. There are so many things in life that you cannot control. There are so many things that just your best effort will not be eoungh. You know the Pixer movie, “UP”? The first 5 minutes of the movie really tells about life.

But do try as long as you can/want. I hope you will be able to enjoy life also. Good luck.

I think you should figure out a way to borrow as little as possible then you won’t have to pay back so much. Your plan calls for you to work one full time high paying job, one part time job and volunteer to have loans repaid. That, I think, is very unrealistic.

Chose schools you can afford now.
