Students being squeezed out of Pomona are overcrowding CSUN!

CSUN is being charged $7 million by the CSU for over enrolling during the budge crisis. My guess is they did this in order to receive more fees for housing, dining, parking and such. Seems pretty shortsighted on CSUNs part and very irresponsible. Now these poor students have to cut back on units and delay their graduation. I am glad Cal Poly Pomona was more responsible and let in the right number and quality of students.

Moreover, Cal Poly Pomona has focused its resources on STEM majors (Science, technology, engineering and mathematics) that are and will continue being high-paid and in higher demand–than say, liberal arts, et al.

At CSUN it’s quantity over quality. It’s a crying shame!
