Wondering if a Trinity student or parent can answer a few questions:
- Do safety concerns affect student life? Do students feel comfortable walking alone on campus at night (let's say before 10 pm)?
- How big is Greek life? Would a student who is not interested in Greek life have alternatives?
- Do most students live on campus for 4 years? If not, what are living options?
- Would you describe the students as academically competitive or do they tend to form study groups and support one another?
- What about profs? The school presents it as they care deeply, open door policy, etc., but wondering if I can get first hand feedback?
- Class sizes in general?
- Have heard it described as huge party school, given its small size there is not much else to do - opinions?
- Do students go off campus? Anywhere close (and safe) for restaurants, shopping, entertainment, etc.?
Thank you.

Anyone? Please… help… S loves the school… but I would love some more information if anyone has some. Thank you.

I’m an alumni who occasionally volunteers for Trinity. Based on my experience, I’ll try to answer your questions.

Safety - there are some security concerns as mentioned in another thread. You have to be careful in any city.

Greek life - their houses are located on Vernon Street, off to one side of the campus. You do not have to participate if you don’t want to be involved.

Campus - yes, most live on campus all four years.

Students - are collaborative.
Profs - are accessible.
Size - there are a few large “101” classes but most are smaller with a dozen or fewer.

Parties - there are parties but I wouldn’t say huge party school. About 70% of graduates go on to grad school within 5 years.

Off campus - students get a free bus pass to go downtown. There is a movie theater on campus. Or you can find someone with a car to go to the mall.
