Students with learning differences

My daughter has applied Regular Decision to UNCA, and I’m wondering if anyone has experiences with kids with a learning difference and whether UNCA has good support systems in place. My daughter has an average GPA (3.3) from a private college prep school, is a varsity sport athlete who doesn’t plan to compete in college, and will need learning support. She has a listening processing disorder and ADHD.

She already has been accepted at Western Carolina, App State, UNCG and several other schools. She’s interested in UNCA because she wants to major in creative writing, but we’re concerned about the academic rigor and amount of support available. She mainly gets extended test time.

Hello
I saw your post- did your daughter end up at UNCA? She sounds exactly like my daughter who is considering attending for fall of 2022. I would love to hear your Experience.
Thanks
