<p>Heading into my sophomore year, I have 54 credits and am eligible to study abroad in the spring semester. I tried to transfer this year but was unsuccessful, and will likely try again for fall 08. </p>
<p>As Toronto is the farthest I have ever strayed from the US, I want to go abroad badly. However, I am worried that going abroad will harm my transfer chances. Does anyone know what effect studying abroad will have on a transfer application?</p>
