I'm currently thinking about studying abroad in England through EAP this Summer. Either the Pembroke(Cambridge) or sussex program. HAVE ANY OF YOU GUYS TAKEN EITHER OF THESE PROGRAMS OR HEARD ANYTHING ABOUT THEM? I'm a little worried taking 15 units over an 8 week period would be too heavy a workload to really enjoy the Europe experience. Any input is appreciated.

are you a freshman right now?

Try posting on LiveJournal's ucla community since no one has responded to your questions. That or at least contact EAP / Study Abroad (look up their offices) to ask about past students' experiences.

To enjoy the Europe experience? How about a semester or, for the more daring, a year abroad? I've had friends who've done EAP over the summer or similar short-programs and told me that it was overpriced and that they didn't have enough time to enjoy their respective countries. It's like you get a whirlwind tour rather than immersion.
