Im a freshman @ pepperdine university and was wondering which study abroad program i should choose for next year. I am planning to double major in finance and french. I have taken french for about 6 years now, and although business is rapidly moving to asia, i still believe it would be foolhardy to abandon my training in french for chinese. please let me know what you think!

How many classes of French did you take during college? You don't want all that money wasted now. France has a strong economy also.

Hong Kong has weird food. France has good food. I'd go to France, personally!

I tested out of a few french classes and am now in the last lower division class to begin my upper division major classes. I hope to begin these in Paris next semester.

Well since you have taken French, it won't make sense to ignore France. I say go to Paris. You'll love it there. I know I did. It's a city of fashion.

The main reason I say France is because you spend time learning this langauge so of course it fasicanted you to a degree, and it probably has more sentimental value to you.

But if you seriously feel like you want to go to Hong Kong then go. You'll build a lot of important contacts over there as well for future reference.
