Study Abroad in UK, Oxford Opinions

After looking over some past forums I wanted your guys insight, especially cupcake, on my situation. I am a Sophomore at a top-20 LAC. I play baseball so I am restricted to only fall semester programs (which eliminates Cambridge and LSE from my options). I am a double major in Economics and Business Management. This past semester I had a 3.92, giving me a cumulative gpa of a 3.72 for my applications. I plan on focusing on economics while abroad, and recently applied to Oxford University through ifsa-butler. The other schools I plan on applying to dont have application deadlines until April, so I will find out about Oxford, which is my number one choice, before hand. If denied, I plan on applying to UCL, and possibly St. Andrew's or Kings. I was just wondering what some people with any experience or knowledge of study abroad admissions for Oxford have idea of my chances of getting into Oxford, or any suggestions of other schools in the UK to study economics?

I was a directly enrolled student at Oxford. The admissions criteria for study abroad students is different. You will need to speak to the people at ifsa-butler and ask them what the admissions criteria for their program are and how competitive it is. In general, UK unis only care about academics, not ECs, and they don’t know what GPA is. But a study abroad program may apply different admissions criteria compared to direct enrollment.

I know that St. Andrew has the most Americans enrolled abroad . A lot of prep school kids go there . I hear most of them are very happy . Most of these schools have an American Club to connect with others from the US .My D was accepted early , but got in RD to Harvard and went there .
