<p>My daughter will be in the Galapagos Islands for a study abroad program in the spring. She just applied for a study abroad scholarship that has this requirement:</p>
<p>"if you are selected as a scholarship recipient, you must furnish evidence of international insurance coverage, to include health, accident, emergency evacuation and repatriation insurance."</p>
<p>Does anyone know how expensive this type of insurance is? Where does one purchase it? We have a zero EC and this scares me that we will not be able to afford it. Her merit scholarship and other financial aid will cover the other costs but I did not think about insurance.</p>
