so right now I am in the second half of my junior year and I want to go abroad to New Zealand for my senior year and am wondering if its a good idea. I would like to experience abroad in another country cause I want to study to be an entrepreneur
If it works with your schedule and finishing your requirementsfor graduation, why not? It’ll never be easier than when you are a student. Perhaps you can go for the summer and the fall semester.
Not sure how this related to being an entrepreneur.
If you’re in the last half of your Junior year and you “want to study to be an entrepreneur”, does this mean grad school, a fifth year undergrad, another degree, etc? Is there some specific entrepreneurial training not available at your school?
The challenge with going senior year is that is typically when job search, on campus interviews, grad school application, etc., happen. Will you be looking for work in NZ, or does your school have a way to engage abroad students in the full-time job/grad school search process?
Study abroad is an experience I recommend for everyone - my D will be in Japan this Spring, but make sure you are positioned for your return.
