How is the study abroad program at Mcgill? (And at U of T and UBC if you know those as well)
I'm really interested in studying abroad during university. What portion of the student population tends to go study abroad? Is it that common? And is it fairly easy to get a study abroad opportunity?

Study Abroad at McGill in my opinion is quite good. For example I’ll be attending the University of Edinburgh as an exchange student next year. Around 600 or so McGill students leave on exchange each year and a similar number of International students come to McGill. In Management for example it’s heavily promoted and due to our large proportion of international students, it seems that quite a few people go on exchange.

Hmm thanks.
Can anyone tell me if the study abroad opportunities listed on the Mcgill website are the only ones available? Or is it possible to create a new study abroad opportunity, or go to study abroad programs not directly a part of McGill? For example, I saw that Brown allows you to participate in certain non-Brown study abroad programs. Because I’m not very happy with the choices on the McGill website. I’d like to see more Middle-East / Africa opportunities.

Thanks!
