Studying Abroad from an American University

Hello, I'm a student at Knox College in Illinois. I want to study abroad my junior year and was thinking about "studying abroad" at McGill. Is this possible for an American student to do? Do any McGill students know any Americans who just studied abroad at McGill for a semester? I feel as though Quebec would give me a "foreign" experience, but it's much closer to home than Europe (also cheaper to fly to). Any comments? Thanks!

Culturally, Canada and the United States aren’t that different. Sure, Montr

EC- why don’t you see which study abroad programs are connected with your university. I have known people to study abroad in Canada, from America, but it was mot really about a true abroad experience, there were other reasons. Most people want a study abroad to stretch themselves and learn about other cultures. What is your goal in doing study abroad? Why Canada?
