I recently visited Reed and found out that the bio-chem majors there usually don't have time to study abroad. I was wondering if this is the case with many schools. Does anyone know of a school with a good chemsitry/ science program in which student still have time to study abroad (say to Scotland, Italy, or Israel...:)) ?

That is the case for most science majors, from what I hear, and is often true for many schools. However, schools with proprietary study-abroad programs (Tufts, namely), can usually accommodate you.

you can go abroad in the summer without disrupting your undergraduate class schedule.
