I have a quick question about the "Current Year Courses" section of the Education section of the Common App. At my school, we have something along the lines of a study hall, a block of time 87 minutes long just like any other class, but we aren't given a grade in that class. Nothing from A through F, in fact we just get a G, which apparently means something like "You were present in this class, but it will neither help nor harm your grade".

Should I report it along with my other classes? It's not optional (I know some schools have an optional free period, but no, this is mandatory for all students). Although it doesn't affect my GPA, it does grant school credit (half as much as any other class), and it is required in order for me to graduate.

Thoughts?
