Hi Pauline,

Good luck with your project! Here are some things I would like to know:

1) What types of academic programs are offered for international students? What are the dates of the programs - summer, 1 semester, full-year?

2) Do I need to speak French fluently or are there courses available in English? Is remedial help for French available?

3) Will I be taking courses with French students or with other international students? Who would my classmates be? What are the age ranges. Is is only for college-age students or can high school or older folks enroll too? How many international students are there?

5) What are the living accomodations like? Does the university make the arrangements or would I have to find housing.

6) Activities - does the university sponsor social activities (and, if so, what kind)? Sight-seeing trip? What cultural or social activities are available in the city or surrounding area. How far is Paris? Will I have much opportunity to speak French with native speakers?

7) Cost :(

Congratulations on your English. I know it is difficult to learn another language! Here are some minor suggestions to help you (there is more than 1 correct way to say what you want!):

Hello, my name is Pauline. I'm 22 years old and I have been studying Biology in Rennes, France for 2 years. So, for this I would like to know what information you would like to know about my university and my city. (Or, do you mean to say, what information do you need to know if you came to my university and city? It is not entirely clear here, what exactly you want to know)

Hope this helps!

hi pauline and guys
I am researching on different abroad studies options and France is also on my priority list. But then i am not that well informed about colleges in France. So in that case Pauline can help me. Besides every other people can share what they know on this issue and make this thread more interactive.
