haha alright thanksss

just write the dt or dx after the integral...
its not THAT hard

To the OP:

Omgzzz I gott like a 110/108 on the first practice test I ever took in the beginning of the year and like I didn't do any work all year and I slept everyday in class but like Idkkkk should I study or something? because all I really care about is what other people think about me so that's why I like post questions like this on an anonymous forum so I could feel better about myselfff...like omg I mean it's the day before the exam and I just feel like omgggg i'm just too smart for my own good.

...Loser

ty for the answer on that whole units thing.

I still think I need more time to reinforce all the calc junk in my brain, but I promised myself I'd go to sleep before midnight >_< so ...

Goodluck tomorrow everyone!! ^^

pssh ap calc, i still have to retake it in college for premed requirements. So yeah, it doesnt matter. It would make my day if i get a 3. I will try on the test, but i am not going to study. My teacher had in class practice exams for 2 weeks and I went to the after school study sessions every day, so I am pretty prepared.

I get the same credit for Berkeley EECS if I get a 3, 4, or a 5 (get out of Math 1B for any passing grade on the exam). So, I'm not too worried. I just started studying a couple days ago, and all I've really done is skim through my notes and do 3 practice tests in the PR book. I've been scoring a very high 4/low 5 on average, so I'm not too worried :)

However, I have Physics B on Monday, and I have to get a 5 on that beast for it to count at Berkeley EECS o_O

would the graders take points off for every dx or dt missing??
or would they be kinda lenient about it?

alvyy: Get a life, I was just telling my predicament.

mjlee24: I don't know, I wouldn't let them try to though. If you don't include it, you aren't talking about the same thing, so just do it.

in one hour I'll start taking the exam :'( EVERYONE GOOD LUCK!

Good luck everybody. 1 hour till exam time.

I think I'm one of the earliest test-takers (in Japan) I finished my test 8 hours ago. :P

omg haru it was so hard. T_T Even after we went through how to calculate stuff it was still hard. ughh.

Yay Japan!
And ugh. I agree: it was haaarrd. I got so frustrated that I doodled comics on the free response. Thus, Inty the Integrand and his friends Gee and Ofexx were born.

what % correct you need to get a 5?

The score calculation is

Multiple choice raw score (correct-incorrect*0.25) * 1.2 = MC score
FR score=6 questions out of 9 each.

Usually a 5 is around 70 points total for both. Meaning, say if you score a 40 on the FR, you would roughly need 30 correct on the MC to score a 5, out of 45 questions, so that's around 66% correct.

lol, I screwed up one of the free response (in fact, it was one of the easiest FR's, but I spent so much time doing what I wasn't supposed to do, and ended up skipping it and going on only to realize 5 minutes prior to the end of the test that it was SOO easy...only got a handful of points for that one I suspect) , but I am pretty sure I got at least 4 of them full credit, plus bits and pieces from the others ~ 40-45 FR score? MC wasn't bad..

thanks haru. Some one said to get five on AB you need to get atleast 70% correct and for BC about 65% correct. was Just curious

In fact, speculations are that this year the curve (the % you need for a certain score) will be easier, since so many people including myself found the Free Response a considerable deviation from the norm.
