What is the best way to prepare for the exams?

I’m taking both as well. Both my APUSH and Chem teacher have been pushing practice tests on us. For APUSH, we’ve been memorizing the barron’s timeline (which is really excellent if you haven’t already looked at it) and taking old ap tests (they recycle questions). I’ve also been studying REA’s review book over the year and that’s probably the best ap review book i’ve ever read. It’s probably too late for that now but I would definetly recommend REA’s crash course book.

For chem, I’ve basically been re-reading my entire textbook. Our teacher is also giving us the hardest questions she can on her review tests so if you can find challenging problems to do, that would be good. Look over old tests from class and study the areas you had trouble with. With chem, there’s really nothing you can do but study, study, study. Just keep re-working problems and hopefully that will get you the score you want.

I took APUSH last year as a freshman…for me I read the Princeton Review very meticulously and outlined the chapters, then committed the outlines to memory.

I’m currently taking AP Chem…to review I basically am reading Barron’s, redoing old problems, and takings lots of practice AP chem tests.
