I am enrolled in two AP classes this year: Ap chemistry and Ap us, and have several questions about them. I am enrolled in a regular AP chem class at school but I take an online class for AP US. Since I want to get a good AP score, I want to know what review books (that you think are very good) you use for both of these subjects . I have a princeton 06-07 book for chem and have nothing for US.
I am thinking of buying the AMSCO for US as I've seen here and on amazon that it is really good. Not to be nosy or anything, can anyone tell what score you got on the AP us exam after they used the AMSCO book (or any other book, but mention the name of it in your reply).
I am more concerned about AP us since I don't have a teacher, and I would greatly appreciate any replies.

I've heard that the AMSCO book is good. You may want to get that and the princeton review because both are good. My teacher told us that the Kaplan was the best though.

u should get amsco and/or rea. both good
princeton is good for chem because it gets to the point and it shows what u need to kno for the ap chem test

Thanks for your replies. I have ordered AMSCO. Do you all read the class textbook thru out the year or just the review books or both? Just a question
Thanks

I am currently taking AP U.S. and I purchased AMSCO. Basically what I do is I highlight key stuff in AMSCO and then I outline from my AP U.S. history textbook (American History: A Survey) or vice versa. I do this because it allows me to pay attention to key things without copying down useless info, which I have a tendency to do. I think that AMSCO will be sufficent enough for you but if you feel that it won't then purchase REA. Good Luck :)

I hope AMSCO will help. First of all, I don't have a live learning experience (I have APUSH online). Second, my textbook Enduring Visions is hard to understand. So I hope AMSCO will really help me.

class textbook is good enough if you actually do the reading. assuming your class textbook is The American Pageant.
Read that religiously every week until April. Then in April put it away and start studying from Princeton Review
got me a 5 and an 800 on the AP and SAT 2

Thanks, but I don't I have American Pageant. I have Enduring Visions. Anyone us that? For chemistry I have Chemistry The Central Science. It is pretty good.
