Studying in Sweden

Hi, or Hej for you Swedes.

Now the first thing that I want to clarify is that I am a Swedish Citizen and speak, write, and read Swedish fluently. I lived there between '03-'08. My moms Swedish.

However, I currently live in lovely South Florida and am considering studying in Sweden and avoiding the enormous tuition costs in the States. For those who don't know, tuition is free in Sweden, at least for its citizens.

I have a 3.3 GPA, but, I got a 2250 on the SAT and a 32 on the ACT. My EC's are ok, I play a lot of sports but not to involved in clubs besides various Honors societies and the Key Club.

So, here is my question to you:
Do I, with this resume, have a shot to get into University of Uppsala or University of Stockholm.

These are the two schools that I would prefer to study at in Sweden.

Also, if anyone has any info on these schools, please convey!

This is the sort of question that CC tends to struggle with, given that it is very specific and CC gets limited traffic.

I’d suggest emailing the universities, and if all else fails then just send in an application and see what happens

Yes, you have a shot. Sweden doesn’t care nearly as much about the stats and all the clubs and all the societies and all the other trivial stuff as the USA.

Why don’t you visit the websites of respective universities? There’s all the information and more easily available. :)
