Hey all,
I'm wondering if it is possible to get over 750 on SAT U.S. History in a month. I'm planning to take it in June after I take the reasoning test in May... I took a year of U.S. government, U.S. History, and now I'm taking interdisciplinary course (English and the U.S. History), so I forgot pretty much about specific dates and locations, but I do have a rough picture of the history in my head. The only thing is I might not have much time, because I go to a private school that gives tons of school work (and the afternoon activities and evening activities are MUST). I can study only on Wednesday and a little bit during the weekends, except for the weeks I have major projects or tests. Has anyone done this? I checked out the practice test on College Board website ( http://sat.collegeboard.org/SAT/public/pdf/getting-ready-for-the-sat-subj-tests.pdf ), and it seemed pretty basic. (I got the hardest question #5 with no problem) But, I don't know this whether is the actual level of the test or a little easier. If I study Barrons thoroughly, shouldn't it be not hard to get 750? Is there anybody who has done this? Thanks.

Since you have taken these US History courses it is definitely possible to get at least a 750 with only a month of studying. Try to go through the Barrons book, and take a lot of practice tests. I did this last year for World History without having the course, and I was able to get a high score.

@simons Thanks! I just ordered Barrons US His from Amazon (although I can’t start it until May)
