<li>must participate in at least 1 sport every year (new rule, starting this year): quite possibly the most clear sign our school is straying away from academics and trying to become a sport-oriented school … ugh.</li>

<p>1 semester of P.E. or 2 seasons of a sport (you choose)
1 semester of Computer Class
1 semester of any “art” class (could be a drawing class or writing class)
80 hours of community service REQUIRED (Augh sucks)</p>

4 years of gym (9th grade you have to do water safety; varsity sports gets you out of gym for at least one term per year)
driver’s ed (10th grade)
senior project (senior year; 80 hours, but -5 hours for every AP/IB exam, and -10 hours if you play a spring varsity sport- minimum 55 hours)
community service (10 hours a year)</p>

    at least 1 year of english, and at least another year of another foreign language.
    3 years of music, drama or art
    4 years of humanities (politics, geography or history). + at least two years of another humanity.
    3 years of religious education or philosophy</p>

<li>an essay on a self-chosen task (can be such ridiculous things as writing about how you trained for a marathon or how applied to universities abroad). </li>
</ul>

<p>There are more requirements, but this is the minimum. There isn’t really that much room for electives.</p>
