This might be a stupid question... actually it probably is, but it's really bothering me because I was spoiled by Pedersen and his wonderful, awesome problem set packets.

What problems am I supposed to do for Vollhardt?! Or, phrased differently, which questions are important / actually useful to do? (besides, of course, past midterms, I know those are super important).

Also, does anyone know if there's an answer key to the past midterms he posted up? :)

Thanks !

He said that the problems at the end of each chapter in the book break down to:
First Third: Easier than test.
Second Third: Test-level.
Third Third: Above what you need to be able to do.

Just identify the reaction concepts from each lecture and go do some, pretty much. Note that I need to get my ass in gear and actually, y’know, do this.

No idea where the old exam answer key is. I’ll look into it, 'cuz it’s important. >.>

Ok so I’ve webcasted all his lectures up until this point but he just pulls pictures/graphs from his textbook and summarizes up the text and adds a bit of recent discoveries for his lectures… I mean, I feel like it is more useful to just read the book/do problems at the end/midterm problems at this point…

So anybody who’s had Vollhardt before – is it worth it to really listen in on every detail of his lectures? Or should I invest my time mostly into doing problems? Cuz both activities require a LOT of time… because his lectures cover so much stuff and he doesn’t do a great job explaining everything

The answers should be posted on Friday.

<333 TY FOR THE HELPP! Good luck on the test next week everyone! :D
