Okay I'm obviously not mexican or else I'll ace the class! Spanish 1 was reaaaally easy for me, most of the tests were vocabulary and grammar. But for Spanish 2, there's a listening portion and read a paragraph and you have know what in the world they're talking about D:
It makes me upset! It's not even an honor or ap class, and I reaaally want an A, but I've been failing all my tests so far? Any suggestions? Or way for me to ace the tests?

Learn Spanish.

Mexicans aren’t the only people who can speak Spanish. Just suck it up and study, when you take into consideration that an entire continent (with the exception of Brazil) can speak Spanish, you really can’t use the excuse of Spanish being “too difficult”.

Well, it’s weird you never had listening sections to your tests in spanish 1- I always had them in that class. Are there practice listening tracks you can do online? Whenever I have listening for spanish homework, I read the list of questions, then pause the track right after an answer is said. Obviously you can’t do this on a test, but it helps you to recognize what you’re looking for.
And for grammar, you really need to work closely with your teacher if you’re not understanding it. You can’t really “practice” phrasing your sentences correctly because there’s no answer key for that kind of thing. If you’re doubtful of whether or not something you wrote is grammatically correct, just ask.

Oh yeah there was a listening portion in Spanish 1 XP
But still, one night I studied my butt off! And then the day of the test, my mind completely went blank with all the Spanish going on.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I even went to this online thing to practice it’s called classzone.com
And absolutely nothing. Got a 57% on the test! Makes me wanna cry!

Waiting until the night before the test to study your butt off is not generally a recipe for success in any subject, and that goes double for languages.

My Spanish 2 class is ridiculously easy. We’ve been in school for two months now and we’re still just reviewing Spanish 1. Our homework is easy and he just walks around the class to see if you did it (so easy to fake) and the tests are pretty easy too.

That said, I highly doubt I’ll take Spanish 3 next year because I probably won’t learn anything this year.

LOL… my Spanish II class is ridiculous. Just yesterday this happened:

First of all…the tardy bell rang and there were only five people in the classroom. The rest of the class spent ten minutes strolling into the class. I should also add this happens daily.

Well…when the teacher was ready to start (fifteen minutes after the tardy bell) we’re being really loud so she starts yelling. “Hush. Be Quiet, and SILENCEEEE!” Well…the class gets quiet and then this boy just randomly yells “WHO LET THE DOGS OUT?!” The teacher goes “That’ssss a write up.” Then the class started laughing and talking again. The teacher gave up and sat down.

Then the Spanish I teacher came in to talk about a song they’d learned in Spanish. Well…she starts talking about the words and this girl yells out. So the teacher’s just like “Okay…come in class!”

Well…our classroom is already really hot and this boy’s like “Oh no. This class is already too hot Ms. __.”

Her class walks in and this girl says “Uh uh…why’s there so many black people in here?!” (She was black herself). Well they start singing the song and this kid gets up and starts doing the Macarena (sp?).

So…her class leaves embarrassed…and then at 3:20 the announcements came on (I have the class at the end of the day) and the whole class just walked out and left. The dismissal bell rings at 3:30.

Wow! I’m dead serious… That was how my Spanish 1 class was last year! My teacher couldn’t control the class, and everyone basically have no respect for her. And since I’m the only good girl in the class, she gave me A LOT of Extra credit! Pluuuuuussss once I failed the Spanish test, she was like “this is not usual, I’ll let you have a re-take” I was like WTH?

Maybe that’s WHY I don’t understand anything in my Spanish 2 class. So saaad

Haha, yeah, last year in Spanish 1, we could re-take every single test. It was ridiculous that not everyone got an A in that class. We can’t re-take tests in my Spanish 2 class, but I don’t even need to because they’re extremely easy. Seriously, the tests are usually like 30 questions, and about 10 of them are just unscrambling a word in Spanish.

holy crap David.
i wanna teach at that school. Lol just do nothing and load in on the beautiful checks of joy :P

of course if i was the teacher, things would be muhc much much much much much much much much different.
If anyone says a peep, “[Beep] you, you [Beep]ing Re[Beep]d. Here enjoy this [BEEP]ing Detention Slip. And if I hear one more inappropriate [Beep] from you [Beeping] Mouth. I’ll personally make sure you get suspended, or better yet, clean the smelly toilets of the boy’s bathroom, and you will have to retake this class you [BEEP]TARD” [this would be to a girl]

Now if a guy says something here is how it would go. “[Slap him across the face] Ha who’s going to believe you [BeeP] Holes huh? It’s my teaching authority over your [ Beep] smelling, and nonsensical RE[Beep]ness. And if anyone squeals, as much as a beep, I’ll personally make sure you will get an F, retake this class with ME, and…muhahahahahahahah muhahahahaha muahahahasha”

so you think your school will higher higher me? lololol

ATTN: the above quotes are a joke, if you take this personally or relate to it, i apologize foir that. Now go eat some pie :)

Actually…if you even STARTED that sentence, this would be the reaction:

Random person: “Oh HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL no!”
Other person: “B*tch, who do you think you is?”

Then you would be yelled at for the next hour and have light bulbs thrown at you. (I promise that has happened).

At my school you can’t do any of the things you said. Teachers have virtually no authority.

^^^ were we in the same spanish 1 class??? Lol
Sounds just like mine >.< I’m definitely not taking Spanish 3, CRAAAAZY I don’t even learn anything.

LOL…I doubt it. XD But that was Spanish II. That all happened in ONE DAY. It’s not like yesterday was the worse day or anything either.
