and

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-subject-tests-preparation/1168167-consolidated-book-suggestions-sat-ii-please-sticky.html?highlight=chemistry+sat

Enjoy studying, and don’t be worried if you didn’t know/see most of the Maths IIC stuff before. It’s pretty easy.

Gave MathsIIC, Physics and Chemistry.

Math II, physics, chem. Guess they’re the most popular among Indians ;)

^touch

I didn’t take Physics. I just took MathsIIC and Chemistry.

For the medically inclined, you could try Biology E(cological) or Biology M(molecular).

Karan and Cobalt here took Literature. You could ask them about it. Basically, it is just a diluted form of AP English.

World History can be fun too ^-^

Just a perspective on less-talked-about tests :)

I love literature. I’ve read quite a few works of Shakespeare, Jane Austen, Elizabeth Barrett, Emile Zola, Emily Bronte etc. all by myself. We have CBSE English course B which sucks. Seriously. Hopefully, I’ll be able to take up literature in college :D

Biology M, chemistry and physics in May

Would depend on the program that you would like to pursue in college.

My D appeared for the following - Math-II, Eng Lit and Bio-M, as it was also a requirement for the program she applied for. They wanted a one Science, One Math and one other which could be Humanities, Foreign Language or English.

Bio M , Chem, World history…
in june and october

math-2, phy, chem, bio-m, & perhaps literature, if i feel like it…

Aah neat!
Not seen many people with a Math 2, Bio (M) and Physics combo.

Also, correct me if I’m wrong anialways, Georgetown is the only university in the US which requires 3 Subject Tests currently.

NYU also gives you the option of either
SAT or
3 Subject SATs or
ACT

But for a program like business if one is submitting only SAT scores, they require Math Subject SAT too.

In my D’s list of colleges UPenn, BC, BU, Richmond - requirement was 2 Subject SATs along with SAT.

And Georgetown and NYU requirement was 3 Subject SATs.

I do not have any info on other colleges that ask for 3 Subject SATs.

My advise to 2017ers, that is why it is better to have one’s own tentative list ready and their testing requirements handy in the beginning of Class 11 to avoid last minute hassles. And along with that one will also get info on number of LORs required so that one can start working with teachers and Counsellor early on.

I took Math II and Literature, so let me know if you need advice on Lit.

JHU “encourages you to give 3 SAT Subject Tests” !!!

It is safe to take 3 subject SAT, which is allowed in one sitting!

Hi everyone, I am a junior and want to apply as ED next year. Please tell me what are my chances of getting into JHU.

SAT:2250 I don’t remember the exact numbers as my mom has the password and does not divulge it to even me.

Unweighted GPA is 3.8
Took AP Bio and revived a 4 and I am taking 4 this year: Ap Enviro, Us, Chem and Lang. SAT II BIO 740

I have done some community services in a youth organization racked up 80 plus hours form 9th grade and have volunteered in a hospital for 40 plus hours. I learn Vocal Indian music from when I was 5 and won an award in 9th grade. I have also gave out many recitals in ky temple. I am the editor of my school newspaper and play varsity tennis from 11th grade, NHS member, won an award for volunteer services, also in clubs such as unity in diversity in which I hope to be vice president, history club which I hope to have a position in next year and math club. I am also in Science Olympaid and Masterminds, which is like College bowl.

Please tell me how close or far I am as this is my dream school.

Thanks for your time
